Job summary

Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist to operate imaging equipment and supporting software, primarily ultrasound, to aid in diagnosing and treating patients.

The role requires clinical hours and ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications or equivalent, with BLS, and a current state license may be required depending on the practice location. You will float between Mercy facilities, delivering high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications or equivalent, plus BLS; state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software, primarily ultrasound, to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality imaging standards.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
• Float between Mercy facilities as needed.
