• ARDMS registration is required.
• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures according to department protocols.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and records images.
• Uses RIS to schedule exams and manage labels and films.
• Provides proper patient care and explains procedures to ensure understanding.
• Maintains patient records and statistics accurately.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and reports hazards.
• Supports in various hospital areas (OR/ICU) as needed.
