Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem/day shift. You will perform ultrasound exams per physicians’ orders using diverse ultrasound equipment, adapting techniques to patients’ ages and needs while ensuring comfort and safety.

Active Oregon licensure or temporary license is required, with ARDMS certification planned within 6 months. Relocation or continued opportunities may be available within the Providence system.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure requirements must be met upon hire.
• Board eligible for ARDMS; ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required at hire.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilize multiple ultrasound systems and tailor procedures to patient age-related needs.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy during imaging.
