Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams per physician orders, using diverse equipment, while considering patient age-related and personal needs.

The position requires Oregon sonographer licensure or temporary license, ARDMS eligibility, and current BLS certification. New graduates must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and secure a permanent license within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary on hire.
• Oregon BLS - American Heart Association on hire.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New grads must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
• New grads must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians’ orders.
• Uses diverse ultrasound equipment and adjusts for patient age-related needs.
• Collaborates with medical team to ensure quality imaging and documentation.
