Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure high-quality recordings for PACS in Lewiston or Bridgton, ME. The role requires ARDMS/RDMS or SARRT certification, graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, at least one year of acute-care ultrasound experience, and current BCLS.

Shifts are available Days or Nights for a 12-week assignment with gross weekly pay between $2,240 and $2,560.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital, Radiology/Imaging required.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain
• 1 year of previous experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
