Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for assignments in Lewiston or Bridgton, Maine. You will perform all ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure images are properly transmitted to PACS.

Required: accredited ultrasound program or current certification; RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT in at least one body region; BCLS. Compensation: $56.00–$64.00 per hour, up to $2,240–$2,560 gross per week for a 12-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital, Radiology/Imaging required.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
