Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound imaging procedures across multiple locations. You will gather patient history and prepare findings for Radiologists, while maintaining exam room readiness and supporting imaging center workflow.

Required are an associate degree or equivalent, CPR certification, ARDMS/ARRT(S) credentials, and 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, with the ability to travel between sites and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
• State license, if applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 1–2 years ultrasound experience required.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging procedures on patients.
• Gather patient history data and document exam findings for Radiologist.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of exam rooms.
• Assist with imaging center workflow and general duties as needed (e.g., burn discs with images).
