Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and provide high-quality imaging for interpretation. You will work per diem across multiple sites, maintaining equipment competency and documenting findings for physicians.

The role requires ARRT (S) and ARDMS certifications, 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Local travel and flexibility are essential to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum certification ARRT (S) and ARDMS.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC; ACLS where applicable.
• 1–2 years of Ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and produce high-quality images for interpretation.
• Demonstrate competency with ultrasound equipment and maintain sterile technique and probe care.
• Communicate results clearly to physicians and health professionals; maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Train and orient new technologists as needed; complete site-specific competencies.
