Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform all patient ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Gather patient history data and complete worksheets with exam findings for the Radiologist.
• Maintain general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms.
• Assist with imaging center workflow, including general duties such as disc burning and other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required.
• State medical licensing, if applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 1–2 years experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer‑service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Local travel may be required.
• COVID‑19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screen is required.

Physical Requirements

• More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients.
• Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients for transfer or exam).
