Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Florence, SC. The role involves performing ultrasound studies in an ER environment, with opportunities for hospital-based assignments and travel as needed.

The candidate should have ARDMS RDMS certification (OB/Ab preferred), at least one year of post-graduate ultrasound experience, a valid driver’s license, and BLS/CPR certification. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly to work-related calls.
• Contact assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
