Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and to support physicians in evaluation and treatment. The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct orders, accurately documenting findings, and maintaining equipment and patient records within the PACS/EHR ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience required.
• 2-4 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently following protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and ensures correct procedures are ordered.
• Documents imaging and patient information in the EHR and uploads into PACS.
• Maintains equipment safety and cleanliness and coordinates supply inventory.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
• Demonstrates professionalism and reliability in attendance and conduct.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
