Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification eligibility (or registry) required/before employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures appropriate procedures are ordered and acknowledged prior to imaging.
• Recognizes and documents pathologies during scanning for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and follows departmental policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and ensures PACS upload.
