Qualifications

• 0-1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures independently, ensuring diagnostic-quality images while following positioning guidelines and departmental standards.
• Adheres to ALARA guidelines and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, confirms patient identity using two identifiers, and explains procedures for patient comfort.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Communicates effectively with peers, staff, physicians, and administration to support patient care delivery.
• Documents images in PACS for radiologist interpretation and ensures proper documentation.
