Job summary

Spectrum Health Lakeland is seeking a qualified ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assist physicians during procedures at the Lakeland Hospital sites. You will document findings, ensure patient comfort, and maintain equipment and room readiness.

Qualified candidates bring an Associate's Degree and 2+ years of ultrasound experience with ARRT/ARDMS credentials and related certifications.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field with relevant ultrasound experience.
Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience and ARRT/ARDMS credentials as listed upon hire.
Certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular, Breast, or MSK per OR medical standards.

Responsibilities

Obtain a complete patient history and perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per protocol.
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality studies meeting established standards.
Document images and pathology observed during real-time scanning.
Assist physicians during invasive procedures when needed.
Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with service personnel.
Support education and credentialing efforts per Corewell Health standards.
