Qualifications

• Five years ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides for patient comfort and arranges equipment for procedure. Explains the procedure to the patient and ensures privacy.
• Maintains and sterilizes ultrasound equipment; performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs ultrasound examinations and ensures images are captured correctly.
• Evaluates image quality and interprets images.
• Presents images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare team.
• Maintains patient records and clinical notes related to ultrasound.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
