Job summary

Slocum-Dickson Medical Group, PLLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join our outpatient imaging team. The role focuses on abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, pediatrics, vascular, and small parts studies with Doppler/duplex capability, across a collaborative setting.

You will work Monday–Friday (7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities, providing compassionate patient care and partnering with radiologists and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current ARRT certification and valid New York State license, as applicable.
• ARDMS certification/registry preferred; may be hired without ARDMS with plan to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations (abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, pediatrics, vascular, small parts).
• Perform Doppler/duplex examinations as appropriate.
• Assist radiologists and physicians with ultrasound examinations and procedures.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care; review prior imaging and reports.
• Utilize EPIC/PACS to enter, retrieve, and maintain patient and imaging information.
• Maintain equipment startup, operation, calibration, and QA; manage supplies and inventory.
