Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography or Radiological Technology program.
• Registration required by ARDMS within one year of hire date.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
• Knowledge of Physics and Instrumentation; Abdominal OB/Gyn ultrasound for ARDMS exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in inpatient or outpatient settings per standards and protocols.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork, and billing promptly.
• Position and transfer patients; assist physicians with interventional exams.
• QC images, send exams to PACS for radiologist review.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
