Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality imaging services. You will perform high-quality ultrasound exams, assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies, and apply sound technical knowledge while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Ideal candidates will have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, ARDMS/AART eligibility, SPI preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Complete Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam preferred.
• Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand methods to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of ultrasound equipment.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Safeguard patient property and patient health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to policies and legal requirements.
• Respect company property including any cash and patient financial information.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public.
