RadNet is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will assist radiologists with biopsies when needed and ensure patient safety and privacy throughout examinations, while maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with patients and their families.

The role requires completing an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, passing the SPI exam, and ARDMS certification or registry eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Ultrasound Technology.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or Registry eligible preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients and coworkers and maintain respectful interactions.
