- Graduate of AMA Accredited Educational Program for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification required
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations, ensuring patient safety
- Review patient history and physician orders prior to examination
- Ensure examination order is complete and medically necessary
- Inspect images for quality and correct patient identifiers
- Assist with training of new staff and residents as requested
- Operate equipment safely and perform quality control checks on devices
