The Department of Radiology at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Ultrasound Technologist 2. The role involves performing ultrasound and vascular procedures independently, ensuring quality, and assisting physicians with invasive procedures.

Core Job Functions

1. Perform routine and specialty sonographic procedures.
2. Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
3. Ensure high diagnostic quality and identify potential pathologies.
4. Make preliminary interpretations and communicate findings.
5. Check patient charts, gather clinical info, and assist with procedures.
6. Provide patient care, explain procedures, and address questions.
7. Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
8. Perform portable bedside exams.
9. Train staff and students.
10. Participate in quality improvement activities.
11. Follow safety and infection control standards.
12. Complete documentation and computer tasks.
