TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nolensville, TN is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. You will support day-to-day operations in a diagnostic environment and ensure high quality patient care.

This role requires graduates of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, ARDMS certification (or within 6 months), and 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
• SPI, Abdomen AB, and OBGYN OB certifications are strongly preferred.
• Vascular VI is preferred as well.
• One year of experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians.
• Ensure day-to-day operations support in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document completion in Meditech, and verify images in PACS.
• Adhere to quality controls and HLD procedures for equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history including lab values.
• Work independently as the sole Ultrasound Tech supporting FSER Nolensville.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.
• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.
• Ability work independently as you will be the only Ultrasound Tech supporting our FSER in Nolensville.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months
• (SPI), Abdomen (AB), and OBGYN (OB) in order to hire strongly preferred.
• Vascular (VI) preferred, as well.
• One year of experience strongly preferred.
