TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures. You will support daily operations to deliver high-quality patient care in a diagnostic environment and demonstrate proficiency in surgery-related and portable exams.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, documenting exams in Meditech, verifying images in PACS, and conducting quality controls on equipment.

Competenze

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• BLS certification current.

Mansioni

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Day-to-day activities to ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.
• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months
• BLS current
