Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nolensville, TN is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians, including surgical and portable exams, in a diagnostic setting.

You will document results in Meditech and PACS, follow QC procedures, and work independently as the sole Ultrasound Tech supporting FSER Nolensville. A Diagnostic Medical Sonography program graduate with ARDMS certification (or within 6 months) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months.
• SPI, Abdomen (AB), and OBGYN (OB) preferred.
• Vascular (VI) preferred.
• One year of experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.
• Ability work independently as you will be the only Ultrasound Tech supporting our FSER in Nolensville.

Education

Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.
• Ability work independently as you will be the only Ultrasound Tech supporting our FSER in Nolensville.
