TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to support our diagnostic imaging team. The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians while maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

You will follow physician orders, document exam results in Meditech, verify images in PACS, and ensure quality control and compliance with HLD guidelines for equipment and accessories.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS certification required.
• RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RVT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsabilités

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
