Job description

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Board eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Obtain National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• New graduates must be board eligible upon hire and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license upon hire and obtain a permanent license within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• At least 2 years of OBGYN sonography experience for positions with codes 612-71875, 612-71877, 612-71878, 612-71882, 612-71883, 612-71884.
