HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a broad range of sonographic procedures and prepare films for radiologists. You will operate department equipment and maintain professional relationships with staff and the Medical Team to support excellent patient care.

Qualifications include completion of a vocational ultrasound program, ARDMS RVT or ARRT–Vascular certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of a vocational program from a school of Ultrasound.
• Experience: Ability to perform all sonographic procedures according to established guidelines.
• Qualifications: Registered and certified with the ARDMS in OB or Abdomen.
• Qualifications: Must be ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular (6 months grace).
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS).

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of assisting in the provision of treatment. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Successful completion of a vocational program from a school of Ultrasound.

Experience

• Ability to perform all sonographic procedures according to established guidelines utilizing appropriate equipment.

Other Qualifications

• Registered and certified with the A.R.D.M.S: in OB or Abdomen.
• Must be registered in ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular (6 months Grace)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
