Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for flexible days or nights in Lewiston, ME or Bridgton, ME. The role requires performing ultrasound exams, preparing recordings, and transferring images to PACS, with 12-week assignment length.

Travel-friendly opportunities and supportive staffing partners accompany competitive pay: $56–$64 hourly, or $2,240–$2,560 weekly. Qualifications include 1 year in acute care, graduation from an accredited program, RDMS/ARRT certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital, Radiology/Imaging required.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain
• 1 year of previous experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
