Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, part of Lumexa Imaging, seeks a CT Technologist for our South Irving outpatient imaging center. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain high imaging standards in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth. Join us to contribute to outstanding patient care with advanced imaging technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Administer contrast media as ordered and per policies.
• Monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Verify patient information, orders and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain CT equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Keep exam rooms and work areas clean and organized.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
