Job Summary and Qualifications

• Obtain high-quality ultrasound images following established protocols and adjust as needed.
• Manage ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information, exercising independent judgment.
• Perform computer operations (Meditech, PACS), ensure proper charges, and verify physician orders.
• Provide professional and courteous patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in administering medications, biopsies, and patient care alongside radiology staff.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification in PACS.
• Assist with PACS cleanup and maintain educational requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information.

Qualifications Needed:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
