Job Summary and Qualifications

• Obtain quality ultrasound images following established protocols, with ability to adjust as needed.
• Manage ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information, exercising independent judgment in complex situations.
• Perform computer operations (Meditech, PACS), ensure proper charges, and verify physician orders.
• Provide professional and courteous patient care.
• Prepare exam rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist radiology staff with medication administration, biopsies, and patient care.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification in PACS.
• Assist with PACS cleanup and maintain educational requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information.

Qualifications Needed:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or ARRT Registered Radiographer.
