Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Tech for our location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Position Reports to: VP of Ancillary Services

Department Description: Wilson Health's Radiology and Imaging Services Department performs diagnostic tests to help doctors make accurate diagnoses. The department utilizes various imaging technologies, including Bone Density Testing, CT Scans, CT Heart Screening with Calcium Scoring, 3D Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Ultrasounds, and X-Rays. All images are stored on our state-of-the-art PACS system, allowing for easy access and sharing among physicians.

Job Summary: The Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Tech operates ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images, including echocardiography and vascular imaging, as directed by Radiologists. The patient demographic includes pediatric to geriatric populations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures competently, adhering to ARDMS, ACR, and departmental standards.
2. Maintains quality and productivity in patient workload.
3. Utilizes knowledge of procedures and equipment, including abdominal, OB, Vascular, non-invasive vascular, general ultrasound, echocardiography, and PACS.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with ARDMS registration or eligibility.
• One-year ultrasound and radiology experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS (RVT, RDCS) or CCI (RVS, RCS) certification.
