Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school in Ultrasound Technology required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months of related work experience post internship/externship required.
• RDCS or RCS certification required to perform Echo cardiograms.
• BLS certification from AMA or American Red Cross required within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures using two‑dimensional imaging, spectral and color Doppler.
• Generates detailed preliminary reports and communicates STAT findings.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Assist physician with ultrasound-guided biopsies and invasive procedures.
• Travel to different office locations up to 40% and maintain equipment per standards.
