Job summary

ChenMed LLC seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and generate precise imaging for physician review. You will interact directly with patients, explain procedures, and ensure accurate record-keeping while maintaining equipment to high standards.

The role requires RPCS/RDCS-type credentials, BLS, and the ability to travel regionally; you will contribute to cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound services across locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-care related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related work experience after internship/externship.
• RDCS or RCS certification required for echocardiograms.
• Must be registered in the ultrasound modality performed (e.g., vascular, general).
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using prescribed techniques.
• Generate diagnostic images using two‑dimensional imaging, spectral and color Doppler, and other techniques.
• Conduct echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and general ultrasound examinations.
• Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns.
• Enter test data and patient information into the computer system to maintain records.
• Generate detailed preliminary reports of findings and communicate STAT findings.
• Assist physicians with ultrasound‑guided biopsies and/or invasive procedures.
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Travel to different office locations as needed.
• Follow standard precautions using PPE as required.
