Job summary

ChenMed seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across multiple clinics. You will perform ultrasound exams, including echocardiography and vascular studies, and create detailed reports for physicians.

The role requires certification, ongoing patient interaction, and traveling to different office locations up to 40% of the time. The ideal candidate has an accredited ultrasound technology degree, RDCS or RCS registration, and a willingness to obtain a BLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school in Ultrasound Technology
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field preferred
• RDCS or RCS registration required to perform echocardiograms
• BLS/CPR certification required within first 90 days of employment
• Ability and willingness to travel locally/regionally up to 40% of the time

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures using prescribed methods.
• Generates diagnostic images including Doppler, echocardiography, vascular and general ultrasound.
• Selects transducers and adjusts equipment for accurate testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.
• Keys test data into systems and generates preliminary reports.
• Assists physicians with ultrasound-guided biopsies or invasive procedures.
• Maintains equipment per manufacturer and industry standards.
• Travels to different office locations as needed.
• Adheres to safety and isolation precautions.
