Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a diagnostic ultrasound technologist to perform a full range of ultrasound procedures for adults and children. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment and rotate to different areas as needed, with shifts including holidays.

Requires ARDMS credentials in abdomen and/or OB/Gyn and/or vascular, plus a second credential by six months. Graduates of accredited programs with strong English communication and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and/or OB/Gyn and/or Vascular by hire.
• Second credential in Abdomen and/or OB/Gyn and/or Vascular by end of 6‑month probation.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts and cover weekends/holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients.
• Prepare and position patients, adjust equipment, and operate imaging systems.
• Maintain and log equipment repairs; may rotate to other areas of the medical center.
• Demonstrate professional conduct in interactions with staff, patients, and visitors.
