Job summary

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a US Tech to perform in-home ultrasound and related tasks in the Austin area. Field-based role, driving required, 2 days per week, 1099 part-time.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, scribing for doctors, chart checks, and data collection to support growth. Requires a valid US Tech certification and strong patient care orientation.

Qualifications

• Valid US Tech Certification.
• 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong awareness of medical terminology.
• Strong desire for patient care.

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field!

Must be willing to drive within Austin area.

US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.

Essential Job Functions

• Operating equipment
• Perform ultrasound on wound patients
• Image interpretation
• Patient interaction
• Documentation and reporting · Order medical supplies.
• Scribe for respective doctors.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.
• Scribe for skin sweeps.
• Make Initial Assessment calls.
