Job summary

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a US Tech to work in the field, driving within the Killeen area. The role involves performing ultrasound for home-bound patients one day a week, managing materials, scribing, and conducting chart checks to support our growth initiatives.

The position is part-time and paid on a 1099 basis. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, assisting doctors, documenting results, and ensuring timely preparation of supplies for procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid US Tech Certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong awareness of medical terminology.

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field!

Must be willing to drive within Killeen area

US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.

Essential Job Functions

• Operating equipment
• Perform ultrasound on wound patients
• Image interpretation
• Patient interaction
• Documentation and reporting
• Order medical supplies.
• Scribe for respective doctors.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.
• Scribe for skin sweeps.
• Make Initial Assessment calls.

Qualifications

• Valid US Tech Certification
• 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred

Job Type: Part time - 1099
