Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to perform clinical ultrasound exams and invasive procedures. You will provide patient care across neonate to geriatric patients, communicating with radiologists and staff to ensure quality results.

Education must include an approved CAAHEP/ARRT program, with ARDMS/ARDMS registry eligibility and BCLS certification. 1 year of experience preferred, no experience required. This is a full-time on-site role in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CAAHEP or ARRT approved).
• No experience required, 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and invasive procedures per standards.
• Provide patient services using ultrasound equipment across age groups.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology; communicate with radiologists and staff.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
