Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician for a maternal-fetal medicine specialty at Montclair, NJ. This variable shift, PRN role focuses on general ultrasound as well as vascular studies, contributing to high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate completes an accredited ultrasound program, holds ARRT/ARDMS, maintains licensure, and is able to work on-call and holidays. BLS is required within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registration or eligibility.
• Maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification needed within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• On-call and holidays required.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing standard general ultrasounds as well as all vascular exams including but not limited to: cardiovascular studies, venous studies, arterial studies, and renal studies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• On call and holidays required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of prior MFM Department experience

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
