Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital - Ultrasound is seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on patient comfort and timely scheduling.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS registered with CPR certification and 1-2 years of staff sonographer experience, graduating from an approved school of sonography. The role includes 40 hours/week with night and weekend rotations and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration required.
• 1-2 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate and ensure timely, accurate exams.
• Ensure timely scheduling of inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide education to patients before, during and after exams.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, departments, physicians and staff.
• Review patient satisfaction data and participate in quality improvements.
• Address and resolve patient complaints and issues.
• Ensure on-time completion of performance pathways and participate in feedback processes.
