Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a night shift Ultrasound Technologist to operate imaging equipment, obtain diagnostic-quality ultrasound images, and communicate impressions to physicians. You will support patient care, participate in quality improvements, and may rotate to community locations.

Qualified candidates hold a Diagnostic Medical Sonography credential, ARDMS/ARRT certs, and NH licensure; 2–3 years of experience and leadership exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Certification: ARDMS and ARRT credentials required; NH Radiologic Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support certification; 2–3 years ultrasound experience preferred; leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and acquire high-quality images following established protocols.
• Communicate findings to interpreting physicians and assist with patient care and safety.
• Supervise and mentor students and staff; participate in department quality initiatives.
• Rotate call, holidays, and shifts; may work across main campus and community locations.
