Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital - Ultrasound is seeking a full-time ultrasound technologist for night shifts, Monday through Friday, 11pm–7am, with rotating weekends and holidays and call as needed. The role requires ARDMS registration with 1–2 years of staff sonographer experience.

Responsibilities include producing quality sonograms, promptly scheduling patients, educating patients, and maintaining strong working relationships across departments and with physicians.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration and CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years of staff sonographer experience preferred.
• Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality sonograms meeting department standards.
• Schedule inpatients and outpatients promptly and efficiently.
• Educate patients before, during, and after exams.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, departments, physicians and staff.
• Assist in CQI initiatives and quality improvement ideas.
