Job summary

1810 Wentworth-Douglass Hospital seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality images. You will communicate impressions to physicians and participate in departmental initiatives while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Role requires ARDMS/ARRT credentials, BLS, and 2–3 years of ultrasound experience. May rotate among campus locations; night shifts, on-site work, and call coverage are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required
• ARRT(R.T.(S)) certification required
• NH Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS required
• 2–3 years ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Leadership experience 0–1 year preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical ultrasound exams and obtain quality images.
• Communicate findings to interpreting physicians.
• Ensure patient identification and safe patient care practices.
• Maintain equipment and room readiness; rotate call, holidays, and shifts as required.
• Mentor students and staff; participate in quality improvement projects.
