Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality images under physician orders. You will work with diverse patients, ensuring timely, safe care and independent decision-making when needed.

Required ARDMS/ARRT registry at hire and BCLS certification; 12 months ultrasound experience preferred. Participation in QA programs and continuing education is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program is required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Ultrasound registry required at time of hire; Vascular Registry must be obtained within 12 months for IDTFs.
• BCLS certification required; CEUs must be completed to maintain certification.
• Preferred: ARDMS in multiple specialties.
• Experience: 12 months ultrasound experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images as directed by a physician.
• Assess emergency situations and act independently as needed.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures as required by department.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist physicians as necessary.
• Participate in QA and continuing education per department guidelines.
