The role requires attention to safety, adherence to Joint Commission and ACR guidelines, and experience with electronic health records. You will verify orders, greet patients, and assist with procedure explanations.

Qualifications

• One year of hospital-based ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS-RDMS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Associates degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per standards.
• Review consultation requests and coordinate with Radiologist.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Ensure equipment quality and daily QA checks.
• Maintain Joint Commission and ACR accreditation standards.
• Manage supplies and safety in the Ultrasound area.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate code procedures.
