Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved ultrasound program with ARRT(S) or ARDMS credential.
• Prior staff technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations following department protocols and ensure quality patient care.
• Obtain clinical history, communicate with referring physicians and read radiologist's reports.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare images on PACS.
• Enter orders and assist with reporting for the radiologist, and apply charges accurately.
