Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Ultrasound Technicians for contract-full-time assignments across Illinois facilities. Positions include travel between Crestwood, Mount Vernon, and Marion, with on-site responsibilities performing specialized ultrasound imaging.

Requirements include state licensure/ certification, CPR if applicable, and the ability to meet all regulatory standards. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and recognition programs; positions may require

Job description

The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient’s body.

• Certification and/or state licensure required perstate/contract
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
