Corewell Health is seeking a part-time ultrasound assistant at Greenville Hospital. The role involves performing basic ultrasound procedures under supervision, obtaining patient history, and ensuring patient safety during imaging.

Under the supervision of a registered sonographer, you will operate ultrasound equipment to provide quality diagnostic studies and support the imaging department at the Greenville site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1 year of relevant imaging experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

Perform basic ultrasound procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered sonographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Obtains a complete patient history prior to performing an ultrasound procedure. Operates ultrasound equipment competently to provide quality diagnostic studies that meets the requirements of established ultrasound protocols.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• AHA OR ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
