Allegheny Health Network is seeking a radiology technologist to perform imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Prior radiology experience preferred.
• CPR certification and background clearances required within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and ensures image quality.
• Educates patient about procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, and performs QC on equipment.
• Administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient status.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Formation

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent education
